Biography
Saeed Lotfifard is an assistant professor with the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and Energy Systems Innovation center (ESIC) at Washington State university. He received my Ph.D. degree from Texas A&M University in electrical engineering in 2011. Dr. Lotfifard research interests include Power system protection, Wide area monitoring, protection, and control (WAMPAC), Health monitoring, fault diagnosis and prognosis of renewable energy generators and storage systems (wind turbine, photovoltaic systems, and battery energy storage), Modeling and monitoring of faulted large-scale cyber-physical energy systems/smart grids.
