Jessica Artiles
Jessica A. Artiles, M.S. researches how design thinking can be taught to non-designers in order to innovate within large systems. Her international experience with SPEED (the Student Platform for Engineering Education Development) has enabled her to try out design thinking methods with engineers from across the globe. She’s committed to spreading the love for "design with a small d" to continue to impact education. Jessica received her B.S in Mechanical Engineering (Sustainability) and a M.S. from MIT in Mechanical Engineering and a M.S. in the Technology and Policy Program at MIT. She works as a Design Thinking Integration Strategist with the MIT Edgerton Center consulting schools in the area to re-design their curriculum to be more hands-on and include more elements of design thinking.
